Our first Conversation will be held Tuesday, November 17 from 6:30 to 8:00 pm.
Located at 98 Alexandria Pike Suite 51, Warrenton, VA
The Piedmont Dispute Resolution Center (PDRC) is hosting a series of Peacebuilding
Conversations beginning mid-November. The conversations are part of the center’s PATH
Foundation funded Community Justice & Peacebuilding (CJP) program.
The purpose of the conversations is to better understand each other’s unique perspective on
current topics. The conversations are open to citizens of Fauquier, Culpeper and Rappahannock
Counties who are interested in building stronger relationships within their communities.
To join a conversation all that matters is your personal perspectives, not how much you know
about a subject. Because conversation is as much about listening as it is about talking,
participants are asked to be curious and listen to each other with understanding. This is an
opportunity to explore how others’ experiences have shaped their values and unique
perspectives.
The Peacebuilding Conversation groups are limited to eight participants and one facilitator and
co-facilitator. PDRC is hosting two conversations per month and may add more as interests
grows. PDRC welcomes your interest in this series. Please email us at
cjp.pdrc@gmail.com to sign up, ask questions and suggest ideas for upcoming conversation
topic ideas.
